Global warming and climate change is a direct consequence of the homogenization, standardization and tecnification, on the earth planet, by the human actions.

One quarter of the worlds population have been consuming approximately four fifths of the worlds resource, two fifths of its annual net food reserves. Forty percent of its annual net photosynthesis.

The rising global temperature is but a symptom of the malaise of human beings treating themselves as masters of this planet rather than a part of the web. Let a natural occurrence like a nuclear winter, a comet shower or a techonic cataclysm decide the fate of this planet.

Climate change can affect human health. EL Ni no causes major climate changes,flood,droughts and crop losses.One of the major pollutants of air is ozone.It is formed in the atmosphere from a chemical reaction between volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxides in the presence of sun light.This abolition of this ozone layer also leads to global warming. The rise in temperatures will lead to extension of areas with high endemicity of malaria,etc...
Another basic necessity is water. A lack of adequate water supply of good quality, together with poor sanitation exacts a health toll.Water contamination may occur from agricultural chemicals, human activity,industrial chemicals,or the process of water treatment itself.All these may lead to directly acquired diseases such as outbreaks of cholera,typhoid,etc... Indirectly acquired diseases result when quantity of water is insufficient,such as scabies, trachoma,and louse in festations,The agent responsible for various food born diseases include bacteria,viruses and parasites, as well as a range of chemicals, including bio toxins and heavy metals.Non infection food born diseases arise from food contaminated by toxins, and certain substances used improperly in food processing.These may lead to chronic and irreversible development deficiencies and cancer.

By under standing the range and risks posed by climate change, we can contribute to the sustainable management if biosphere.
